In the secondary stage of TED Northern Cyprus College the educational programmes are determined by the ministry of education envisaged for private colleges. Reinforcement programs are also applied to prepare students for the international programs which they will follow in high school. The language of instruction in our secondary school is English. In our secondary school, the number of lessons per week is 44 and the duration of each lesson is 40 minutes.

TED Northern Cyprus College’s secondary school education provides national and international platforms for the students to express themselves; provides opportunities to uncover interests and talents in science, culture and sports environments. It is aimed to educate individuals who can think critically, communicate effectively, be creative, possess national values and possess the vision of world citizen.

TED Northern Cyprus College’s mission is to cultivate individuals who can think independently and critically, exhibit effective communication skills, are creative and enterprising, and preserve national values.

TED Secondary students attend the International Cambridge ESOL exams. They attend KET examination in grade 6 and PET in grade 7. Our school prepares the students during the year, and certify their English proficiency with international validity.

As a result of our on-going English education, by the end of 8th grade, students reach a level of proficiency within the framework of European standards (B1/B2) that allows them to express themselves effectively both verbally and in writing to the extent that they are able to engage in real-life situations with their acquired language skills. TED Northern Cyprus College values learning a secondary foreign language and students are given an option among two languages of German and French from the beginning of the 4th grade. Our elective German and French courses, whose curricula are prepared according to the Common European Framework, are conducted with audio-visual aids, and students gain the necessary skills to speak and write in both languages. Students have the chance to receive internationally accepted (Diplome d’Etudes en langue Française) DELF A1, A2, B1, B2 and DALF C1, C2 certificates in French, and Goethe- Zertifikat A1, A2, B1, B2 and TestDAF C1, C2 certificates in German.
